PoChun Chen is a Taiwanese filmmaker and photographer based in Vancouver, Canada.

She strives to push the boundaries of what storytelling can be, blending and bending genres in unique and innovative ways. Drawing influence from a wide range of multimedia, she creates work that dives into the human psyche, exploring who we are as a species, and empowering individuals.

A short horror/fantasy produced for the Crazy8s Film Festival. Had it’s world premier at the Vancouver International Film Festival in 2022. In 2022, it screened at The American Indian Film Festival, Blood in the Snow Film Festival, Vancouver Asian Film Festival, and the Sacramento Horror Film Festival.

Produced for the Mighty Asian Moviemaking Marathon 16. Won Best Cinematography in the ultra-short category, People’s Choice for Best Overall Ultra Short, and Best Performance in the Ultra Short category. Screened at the Vancouver Asian Film Festival 2021.
